In the UK hit list, the album reached 8th place, in the US it climbed to 21st place, and the highest position was taken in New Zealand - 6th place. This album, in the opinion of the reviewers Allmusic, Blender, Entertainment Weekly and Sputnikmusic, is the best in Waters' solo career.
