I don't know what's harder to believe--that the rock song which catapulted Free to the top of the charts was first written, recorded, and performed 39 years ago, or that Paul Rodgers, the front man for Free, is still performing onstage, and in fine voice!

In 1970, a 17-year-old Rodgers combined with bassist Andy Fraser to write "All Right Now," which would turn out to be a huge international hit, and for the next several years the band would join Led Zeppelin as the top two grossing British acts. But creative differences forced Free to break up, and Rodgers next teamed with Mick Ralphs (who played guitar for Mott the Hoople) to form Bad Company. For roughly 10 years they recorded, toured, and enjoyed success with such songs as "Can't Get Enough (of Your Love)," "Feel Like Making Love," "Bad Company," and a cautionary song about music and drug abuse, "Shooting Star." During that time they released 15 albums and built a fan base that's still loyal.
