Description:
13 - nineteenth studio album of the British rock band Black Sabbath, was released in June 2013. This is the band's first studio record since Forbidden (1995) and the first record with Ozzy Osborne's vocals after Reunion (1998).
Work on a new studio album began in 2001 with producer Rick Rubin. The recording of the album was suspended due to the fact that Osborne was in the process of working on a solo disc, and the rest of the musicians were engaged in other projects, including GZR and Heaven and Hell. After the announcement of the reunion of Black Sabbath on November 11, 2011, the band announced the resumption of work on the album under the direction of Rubin. The recording of the album took place from August 2012 to January 2013 at a studio in Los Angeles. In addition to the original members (Butler, Osborne, Iommi), drummer Brad Wilck (Rage Against The Machine) took part in the recording instead of Ward, who refused to participate in the "contractual considerations".
