Description:

Dog Man Star - the second studio album of the English band Suede, released by the record company "Nude Records" in 1994. This is the last album by Suede, recorded with the participation of guitarist Bernard Butler, who, due to the increasing tension in his relationship with vocalist Brett Anderson, left the band before the album was completed. This gave rise to talk about the possible early disintegration of Suede, as Butler was the author of almost all the music of the band. However, the album still came out, the group survived, and instead of Butler was invited 17-year-old Richard Oaks.

Dog Man Star is more pessimistic in mood than its predecessor, and marks the departure of Suede from a typical Brit-pop. Despite the smaller commercial success compared to the album Suede, he reached the third line in the UK album chart and lasted 16 weeks on the list of the country's most popular albums.
